
On Saturday, April 7, 2012, is inviting the community to attend an Easter egg drop event.
At 11:15 a.m., a helicopter will fly overhead, dropping thousands of plastic eggs from the sky.
With help from volunteers on the ground, 30,000 prize-filled easter eggs will be scattered over the soccer fields of the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Select eggs will be marked as the winner of grand prizes including: The New iPad, Nintendo Wii, American Girl Doll, Bike and helmet, and more.
This is a free community event for families with children ages 12 and under. All families must pre-register using an online form. Space is limited to the first 2,500 pre-registered children. No walk-ons will be permitted. Pre-registered guests are invited to check-in between 9-11 a.m. for the festivities.

"Fun music and Easter Bunny sightings will help keep the children entertained as they wait with joyfilled anticipation for the helicopter to arrive," reads a release about the event.
Children will be divided by their age into four fields. Each child will be given a colored wristband to direct them to their assigned section. They will also be provided with an Easter egg bag to collect eggs!
