Gigi's Cupcakes in Woodbury Gives Officers Special Treats

Woodbury police officers say they're grateful after local community members reached out on National Officer Appreciation Day Tuesday to say "thank you." In particular, police thanked the owner of Gigi's Cupcakes in Woodbury for dropping by with beautiful treats in honor of of the day.

"They are almost too lovely to eat," said the Washington County Sheriff's Office on Facebook. "Almost."

What a treat for yourself? Gigi's Cupcakes in Woodbury is located at 7455 Currell Blvd #107.

Minnesota is home to more than 10,000 law enforcement officials. Minnesota was fortunate not to have lost a single law enforcement officer in the line of duty in 2016; however, the nation lost a total of 138 officers last year.
