Gordmans, With Location In Woodbury, Files For Bankruptcy
Gordmans, the Nebraska-based department store with a location in Woodbury, has filed for bankruptcy.
We have bad news to report for fans of the Gordmans store in Woodbury: the Nebraska-based department store has filed for bankruptcy.
On Monday, Gordmans Stores, Inc. announced that it has filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Gordmans is planning a liquidation of its inventory and assets, including Gordmans' retail stores and distribution centers, according to a news release.

"Until further notice, all Gordmans stores are operating as usual without interruption," said Andy Hall, president and chief executive officer of Gordmans, in a statement. "The management team and all of our associates remain committed to continuing to provide great merchandise and service to our guests during this process."
The company plans to liquidate its remaining inventory and assets.
