In order to reduce class sizes, students will be divided into two groups; group "A" and group "B."
WOODBURY, MN — All students in South Washington County Schools will begin their hybrid learning on Sept. 8. In order to reduce class sizes, students will be divided into two groups; group "A" and group "B." Students in the same family will be placed in the same group.
On Aug. 14, the district released the schedule for all grade levels:
- Mon/Wed: Student Group A attends school in-person, Student Group B at home for distance learning
- Tue/Thu: Student Group B attends school in-person, Student Group A at home for distance learning
- Fri: Flexible Instruction Day - All students will learn on Fridays through:
- In-person learning (exams, labs, individual and small group learning)
- Distance learning opportunities (either real-time learning or remote learning)
- Advisory class
If cases of coronavirus spike or dramatically decrease, the school district has the power to change the learning model. Families will be given a one week notice from the district if officials decide to switch to distance learning or in-person learning.
