I-94 East Metro Ramp Closures Extended
Motorists in the east Twin Cities metro can also expect daily lane closures through Friday, Oct 13.

Ramp and lane closures on both directions of Interstate 94 from St. Paul to Maplewood will extended as crews work to complete construction before the colder weather hits. Nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on Monday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 13, both directions of I-94 between Mounds Boulevard and Highway 120/Century Avenue will be reduced to a single lane.
Motorists can also expect off-peak daily lane closures from Monday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct 13 as crew remove the movable barrier equipment and apply permanent pavement markings, according to a news release.
In addition, the following eastbound I-94 ramp closures have been extended:

- Southbound Highway 61/Etna Street to eastbound I-94 – through the end of Oct.
- Northbound Highway 61 to eastbound I-94- through the end of Oct.
- Burns Avenue/Hudson Pl. (McKnight Road ramp) to eastbound I-94 – through Oct. 16
