Labor Day 2017: What's Open, What's Closed In Woodbury

Here's a look at what's open and what's closed on Labor Day 2017 in Woodbury, Minnesota.

WOODBURY, MN — For most people, Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, with the Minnesota State Fair ending and kids and college students in the Twin Cities heading back to school. This year, Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 4. Because Labor Day is a federal holiday, it means a day off work and no school for children, and many municipal services are also closed.

The following Woodbury city facilities will have altered schedules this weekend and next week in observance of the Labor Day holiday:

  • City Hall, Public Works/Public Safety Administrative Offices: Closed Monday, Sept. 4
  • Central Park (entire facility, including RH Stafford Library): Closed Monday, Sept. 4
  • Cafe at Central Park: Closed Saturday, Sept. 2-Monday, Sept. 4
  • HealthEast Sports Center: Closed Saturday, Sept. 2-Monday, Sept. 4
  • Eagle Valley Golf Course: Open regular hours all weekend

In addition, Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground will be closed Sunday, Sept. 3 through Thursday, Sept. 7, for annual maintenance.
