Lightning Hits Home on St. Johns Place
The townhome sustained "moderate" damage and no one was hurt.

Lightning struck a townhome at the 2200 block of St. Johns Place on Saturday afternoon.
No one was home at any of the four units in the structure and no one was injured in the incident, said Woodbury Police Sgt. John Altman.
There was “moderate” damage to the townhome, Altman said, though he noted that it looks fairly severe from the outside.

Firefighters got the call at about 3:05 p.m. Saturday and were on scene a short time later.
A firewall at the townhome held up well and a neighboring unit only incurred some light smoke damage, Altman said.

There was a report of a tree down but the city otherwise faired well during the storm, Altman said.
