Out in Woodbury looking for unique items at sales on Friday, Patch found Krissy Hanson, participating in the Lions Club Garage Sale for the first time this year.

Asked if she had any oddities, Hanson at first said no. Then she pointed to a pair of children’s slippers shaped like bear claws.

“And they growl,” Hanson said. (Check out the video above.)

She bought them for her son on a trip up north when he was 2 years old.

“He didn’t wear them very often, but that’s OK,” Hanson said.
