Local woman named Mrs. Washington County to compete for title of Mrs. Minnesota International 2015

Hopes to serve community through platform, "Bridging the Badge: Fostering Lasting Relationships Between Communities and Law Enforcement."

Sherri Shanley, Mrs. Washington County International 2015, will be competing in the Mrs. Minnesota International Pageant to be held March 14, 2015. The state competition will be held at the Atwood Center Ballroom in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

The International Pageant system has been developed to promote today’s married women, their accomplishments, and commitment to family and marriage. Around the world women are finding this system to be the opportunity to work with their husband and family to become positive role models. Being the premiere pageant for married women has given Mrs. International® a chance to open doors for married women around the world. Contestants range in age from 21 to 56 and will be judged in aerobic wear, in an evening gown competition as well as a personal interview with the judges at the state competition.

Each Mrs. Minnesota International contestant is given the opportunity to select a service platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting. The Mrs. Minnesota International Pageant motivates married women and their families to exemplify traditional family values, and to make a difference by getting involved in their communities.
