Man Punched Friend, Slapped Girlfriend At Woodbury Home: Charges

Police accuse a Landfall, Minnesota man of stabbing his friend and slapping his girlfriend of two years at a residence in Woodbury.

WOODBURY, MN — A Landfall, Minnesota man faces a felony assault and misdemeanor assault charge after allegedly stabbing his friend and slapping his girlfriend of two years. Police said the defendant called his girlfriend vulgar terms and accused her of cheating before violence took place.

The argument on the 2800 block of Castleford Court was so loud that several neighbors reported they could hear the yelling and fighting, authorities said, and the defendant's friend came and attempted to break up the argument. Moments later, the two were on the ground fighting. The defendant's friend later realized he had been stabbed as blood was coming out his side, according to the criminal complaint.
