Merrill Community Arts Center & Woodbury Community Theatre Present: "A Christmas Carol: The Musical"

Woodbury Community Theatre to perform "A Christmas Carol: The Musical"

“A Christmas Carol – The Musical” presented by Woodbury Community Theatre, will open on Friday, December 5 and run through Sunday, December 14. A Christmas Carol – The Musical, designed for audiences of all ages, originated on Broadway and is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’s most well known story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present, & Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful “Happy Christmas” before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, December 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 7:00pm, and Sundays, December 7 and 14 at 3:00pm.
