Mysterious: Woodbury Woman's Car Rolls on its Own, Runs Over Man's Foot

A Honda Accord rolled over a man's foot while its owner was at an appointment. The car's owner later said the car was in park.

Most cars on the road today weigh well over a ton. If one of them ran over your foot, would you be able to just walk if off? That's what one man did after a Woodbury resident's car began rolling in his direction.

According to the Woodbury Bulletin, an unoccupied vehicle ran over a Chicago man's foot on Sept. 23 after a Woodbury woman's Honda Accord began rolling in a HealthPartners clinic parking lot all by itself. The incident occurred while the owner was at an appointment.

The Honda Accord apparently didn't do too much damage, as the victim was able to walk afterwards. He declined medical attention and said he did not have time for a visit at the HealthPartners clinic.

The woman told police the car was in park when the owner came out of the clinic. How the vehicle began rolling on its own is unknown.
