New East Metro Hy-Vee Opening Delayed

COTTAGE GROVE, MN — Sorry, Hy-Vee fans. The grocery store expanding throughout the Twin Cities metro has plans to open in Cottage Grove, but the location's opening has been delayed two months.

While it was first scheduled to open in October 2017, the opening was moved up to June 2017 last year. Now a new plan to open the Hy-Vee in August this year has been confirmed, Mayor Myron Bailey told the South Washington County Journal. "They're confident it will be August," he told the newspaper.

Hy-Vee's Cottage Grove grocery store and gas station will be located at 7280 East Point Douglas Road. The grocery store does have a location opened in the east metro, located at 7120 10th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128.
