WOODBURY, MN — Construction of the newest Goddard School in Woodbury is underway. Owners and Woodbury residents Rick and Shannon Gehrmann held a groundbreaking ceremony to kickoff construction of their 10,000-square-foot preschool earlier this spring. The preschool will serve more than 100 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years and will have 9 classrooms, and an indoor gym. The Woodbury school will be the the sixth Goddard school location in the state. Officials tell Patch it will open this fall. The company says it will provide children with "a unique play-based learning experience in a safe, nurturing and educational environment to help a child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social development."
