New Youth & Family Therapist at Youth Service Bureau

Youth Service Bureau is excited to welcome James Davis, M.S., LMFT as a Youth & Family Therapist working in its Cottage Grove location.

“We are very excited to have James become connected in the South Washington County,” said program director Michael Huntley. “James comes to YSB with a great deal of related experience and is ready to become well-established in the Cottage Grove area.”

In his role as Youth & Family Therapist, Davis will continue YSB’s strong tradition of providing effective and accessible services to youth and families.

James holds licensure in both Minnesota and Wisconsin as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is an approved provider for several insurance carriers. Prior to joining YSB, James provided counseling services to children, adolescents, parents and families throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. He specializes in anxiety, depression, attention, and various behavioral concerns.

“I’m excited to be at an organization with a long track record of helping kids and their families,” said Davis. “My goal is to carry on that tradition by helping families recapture their resilience and develop the dedication and determination to build a brighter future.”

James is available to see clients at our Cottage Grove location Monday through Friday, with evening appointments available.
