Nordstrom Rack​ Opening In Woodbury: What You Need To Know

Nordstrom Rack's new location at Woodbury's CityPlace is preparing to open its doors to the public. The 26,000 square foot store will officially open April 6.

Here's everything you need to know:

Thursday, April 6 – Store Opening “Rally at The Rack”

• Doors open to the public at 9 a.m.
• At 8 a.m., the store will kick things off with music, coffee and breakfast treats.
• The store will hold a traditional raffle format to give away gift cards. Customers will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of (30) $100 gift cards.
  • One winner will win a $1,000 shopping spree through the store's Rule the Rack sweepstakes (that winner is drawn at 8:25 a.m.)

Nordstrom Rack offers many of the same brands carried in Nordstrom stores with most at savings of 30 to 70 percent off.

Nordstrom Rack operates 216 stores in 40 states.

• Central: 70 stores in AZ, CO, IA, IL, ID, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, OH, OK, TX,
• UT, WI

The first Nordstrom Rack opened as a clearance center in the lower-level of the downtown Seattle Nordstrom store in 1973.

The first stand-alone Nordstrom Rack opened in 1983 in Clackamas, OR.

As Nordstrom expanded to other parts of the country, Nordstrom Rack stores followed.
