Part-time Employment Opportunity

Hope for the Journey Home is an emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness located on the campus of Guardian Angels Church. Volunteers from many partner churches and faith communities help staff the shelter and serve guests during the hours it is open; 3 PM to 9 AM Sunday – Friday and all day on Saturdays and major holidays. The overnight shelter is an integral part of a program of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church Community Resource Center, where case management and resources for families are provided during the day. An Assistant Shelter Operations and Volunteer Coordinator is sought to fill a part-time (24 hours/week) position at Hope for the Journey Home, working from 11 AM – 4 PM Monday, 2 PM until 9 PM Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 AM – 2 PM alternating Saturdays.
