O’Malley’s Irish Pub

May the luck o’ the Irish, and a black and tan or two, be with you at O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Woodbury. The independent bar serves up traditional favorites, but also has Irish fare such as Scotch eggs and onion rings coated in Harp Lager batter and sprinkled with Guinness Stout. O’Malley’s opened on St. Patrick’s Day 2005.

Woodbury Community Theatre

If you’re not into the bar scene, head to the James J. Hill House in St. Paul for performances of “An Irish Journey” by Woodbury Community Theatre. Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. on March 18-19. Tickets cost $14 for adults, $12 for college students and seniors, and $10 for students 6-17 years old. For more information, click here.

Duke’s Pizza Pub and Grill

The St. Patty’s Day party starts early at Duke’s Pizza Pub and Grill in Oakdale. A deejay will be playing Irish music from 3-6 p.m., and then DrunkNStupid will play live at 7 p.m. Green beer, corned beef and cabbage will top off the night.

DeMori’s Italian Foods & Lounge

DeMori’s is the place for the discerning corned beef and cabbage connoisseur. The restaurant sells the meal occasionally throughout the year, so the cooks are anything but rusty when it comes to preparing the quintessential St. Patty’s Day meal. The bar will also have regular happy hour drink specials going on throughout the day.
