K-9 teams from across the region showed their skills this week as the hosted the Region 18 trials of the <a href="http://www.uspcak9.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">United States Police Canine Association</a>. Events were held Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (June 12-14) at multiple locations around Woodbury. More than 80 dogs from Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota and their officers demonstrated their skills in agility testing, obedience testing, article search, suspect search, and criminal apprehension with and without gunfire.  The events concluded with an awards ceremony.
