
The East Ridge gymnastics team rode high scores on vault and floor to win the Big Lake Invite Saturday Jan. 4 at Big Lake High School.
The Raptors finished with a team score of 138.950, beating Big Lake, which took second place, and seven other teams.
Sophomore Megan Trollen took the meet’s all-around title with a score of 36.85. Trollen also placed 1st on bars, 3rd on beam, and 5th on vault and floor.

Sophomore Wren Anderson scored her season’s best on vault and floor with 9.6’s, placing first on both events. She also placed 3rd on bars and 2nd in the all-around with a score of 36.75.
Other East Ridge notables were sophomores, Karina Joiner and Taryn Johnson. Joiner scored a personal best 9.5 on vault, placing 2nd and Johnson placed 4th on vault with a 9.35.
