Registration To Change Learning Models In South Washington County Schools Will Begin Next Week

South Washington County Schools will open registration from Oct. 12-25 for families who wish to change learning models for trimester two.

Families will have the opportunity to change from:

• The district learning model (hybrid) to the Virtual Learning Academy (distance learning only) or;
• The Virtual Learning Academy (distance learning only) to the district learning model (hybrid)

The district learning model is currently in hybrid, but could change to in-person learning at school or distance learning at home based on COVID-19 infection rates and other factors related to staffing, illness and classroom space.

Once registration opens, only families who want to change learning models for trimester two will need to complete the form. Families who are happy with their current learning model do not need to do anything.

All families will receive more detailed information next week through email and online at sowashco.org/fall2020.
