Residents: Not Bad Living Near Ojibway During Woodbury Days
Thought the constant traffic would get them down? Nah. Folks who live by Ojibway Park say they have no issues with the annual event.

βA lot of people even wave as they go by,β Bedard said from his front stoop Friday, a few hours after Woodbury Days 2011 kicked off.

Those who attend the festival are generally well behaved and polite, said Bedard, who usually attends several time each year.
Even those who park near his driveway rarely block it. βTheyβll get right up to the edge,β he said.

βItβs a first-class city-run festival,β Bedard said. βThe food is good, the prices are decent. They have great bandstand entertainment. Itβs family-oriented, which we appreciate.β
Down the block, Brian Wise said much the same thing. He has lived near Ojibway Park for 13 years and has never had an issue with .
βItβs neat,β he said of having the annual festival near his home. βYou can hear itβlike a stadium. Itβs like youβre in a college town.β
Wise said he and his children often head up to their roof to watch the fireworks. βI love it,β Wise said. βItβs great.β
Cars sometimes park a little too close to driveways, but thatβs the only drawback, said Cheryl Southard, who has lived near Ojibway Park for three years.
She, too, enjoys being able to see the fireworks from her home. βThatβs really nice.β
Overall, Southard said sheβs "impressed" with how smoothly things run each year.
