Semi Runs Off Road on I-94, Hits Bridge Deck in Woodbury

If you were traveling on Interstate 94 Wednesday in Woodbury, you my have noticed an abnormal amount congestion. A semi traveling on the highway ran off the road on Oct. 16 and collided with the bridge deck at County Road 17 (milepost 253).

Woodbury Department of Public Safety officials were among the authorities to respond to the incident.

The driver, Stephanie Hedemark, 47 , of Mora, suffered serious injury in the head-on crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

No other vehicles or injuries were reported in the incident.
