South Washington County Schools is providing some meal options for families in our community including food delivery and meal pick-up sites.

Food Delivery

Food delivery requests are reserved for families who do not have transportation or those who have a medically fragile child. Deliveries are made through the SoWashCo Cares Foundation and are based on food and staff availability. To be added to the list, register here.

Food Pick-up Sites

South Washington County Schools is offering meal options to anyone under the age of 18 or those enrolled in our Next Step program. Registration is no longer required.

Instructions

  • Meal pick-up sites are available to families whose children are under the age of 18 and are in need of food assistance
  • Families who choose the pick-up option no longer need to have their child with them. Simply provide verification of your child through a student ID badge, the ability to log into Schoology or SeeSaw, a letter regarding qualification for free or reduced-price lunch, an email from your student’s teacher, etc.
  • The meal sites will be open for the time referenced or until the food runs out
  • Please stay in your vehicle, and a nutrition services staff member will bring you the appropriate number of meals
  • If you do not have a vehicle, please stay outside the building, and a staff member can assist you
  • Families may visit meal pick-up sites at a maximum of two times per week. Starting Monday, April 27 on Monday and Tuesday pick up dates, you will receive six meals (three breakfasts, three lunches). On Wednesday and Thursday pick up dates, you will receive eight meals (four breakfasts, four lunches).
  • Memorial Day Note: Monday, May 25 is a non-school day and our meal pick-up sites will be closed. On Friday, May 22 there will be grab-and-go meals at Lake Middle School and Crestview Elementary. Additionally, all meals that are typically delivered on Mondays will be delivered on Friday, May 22. Deliveries the week of May 25 will only go out on Wednesday, May 27. Oltman and Woodbury Elementary will not be affected.

Locate the carpool lane on the east side of the building (closest to park) and go to door number two. Please line up alongside the sidewalk and remain in your vehicle. A volunteer staff member will then bring you the appropriate number of meals.

Enter Cottage Grove Middle School through the main entrance on the north side of the building. Follow the carpool lane until you reach the driveway to the loading dock area. Follow this around to the bus entrance where the meals are to be picked up, which is located on the south side of the building. Please line up alongside the sidewalk and remain in your vehicle. A volunteer staff member will then bring you the appropriate number of meals.

Oltman Middle School: enter parking lot and follow car pool lane to door #28

Enter Lake Middle School from Pioneer Drive and continue to go straight until you reach the other side of the building where the bus entry is located. Please line up alongside the sidewalk and remain in your vehicle. A volunteer staff member will then bring you the appropriate number of meals.
Locate door number two on the west side of the building. Please line up along the sidewalk and remain in your vehicle. A volunteer staff member will then bring you the appropriate number of meals.
