Woodbury Community Theatre to perform “The Importance of Being Earnest”

. The Importance of Being Earnest, a Trivial Comedy for Serious People, takes place in England in the late 1800’s, and it’s high farce and witty dialog have made it one of the most popular and enduring plays.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, April 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 7:00pm, and Sundays, April 12 and 19 at 2:00pm. All performances are at the Black Box Theater at East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive, Woodbury, MN 55129. Tickets are $15 adults, $12 seniors and students and can be purchased online at www.merrillartscenter.org or by calling 651-200-4610.

The show is directed by Cyndi Sturtz, and features cast and crew members from throughout the metro area including Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Newport, Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Hastings, Roseville, St. Paul and Hudson, WI.
