State Trooper Helps Locate Missing Woodbury Teen
A Minnesota state trooper paying attention to his Facebook page helped locate a missing autistic teenager from Woodbury earlier this month.

A Minnesota state trooper paying attention to his Facebook page helped locate a missing autistic teenager from Woodbury earlier this month. The trooper saw a Facebook post about a missing autistic teen named Austin at the beginning of his shift on Nov. 2.
Austin is 18 and a high-functioning autistic. Authorities said he went missing near Woodbury.
That same trooper was dispatched a few hours later to a pedestrian call on Interstate 494 in Eagan.

Upon arrival, the trooper believed he had found the teen. After a few questions, the trooper confirmed his suspicions.
With the help of the trooper's friend, who made the Facebook post, he was able to get the teen’s address and take him home, according to a news release.
