Hi! My name is Justin Tew. I am a Woodbury resident, an army veteran, and a father of three wonderful children.
Recently, I published my first young adult Science Fiction novel.
My novel, The Acolytes of Crane is about a Minnesota boy named Theodore, who is battling through the challenges associated with an abusive father. Theodore stands up to his father and is sent to live with his grandparents, where a mysterious realm of the universe is discovered.
He will embark on an adventure with his friends through outer space to discover the unknown and fight evil.
The Acolytes of Crane is best described as a mashup of Goonies and Star Wars.
Best of all, the setting for the story is in Minnesota, originating where I grew up in Oakdale.
I wrote this novel to counter childhood abuse and encourage children to fight through challenging problems. This novel is 258 pages in length and is best suited for children from ages 12 and up.
