After an unprecedented five weather-related school cancellations this January, the School Board has approved a plan to add two days back into the calendar.
Students in School District 622 will now attend school on Friday, Feb. 28 and Friday, March 7. Both dates had previously been designated as staff development and/or conference days.
To date, the District only needs to make-up two of the five days, since the District was fortunate to have had more school days built into the calendar than are required by state law.

Elementary conferences originally slated for March 7 will be rescheduled, and the new schedules will be shared with families as soon as they are available.
