Virtual Learning Academy Not Planned For 2021-22: ISD 833

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— Independent School District 833 announced that they are not planning on using the Virtual Learning Academy in the 2021-22 school year.

The district said they will continue to review state guidelines and update their plan if necessary.

This decision came after the district sent out a survey was sent to parents in which only 482 families throughout all grade levels said they would consider it, the district said.

The district also took into consideration staffing timeline requirements and the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine, the district said.
