What's Open, What's Closed 4th Of July 2017 In Woodbury

Several government offices in Woodbury will be closed in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury city offices, including Woodbury Public Safety and Woodbury Public Works administrative offices, will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Woodbury Central Park, including the RH Stafford Library and Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground, also will be closed.

  • Many grocery stores will be open
  • Many malls will be open
  • Public transit: Metro Transit buses and the METRO Blue & Green lines will follow Sunday/Holiday schedules on Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4). The METRO Red Line will follow weekend/Holiday schedules that day.
    • Regular Northstar service will not operate on July 4, but a special southbound trip will operate for the Twins game scheduled for that day. The train will leave Big Lake Station at 11:53 a.m. An extra northbound train will leave Target Field Station 30 minutes after the last out. The Transit Information Center will be open to offer trip planning assistance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4. Customer Relations and Lost & Found will be closed.
