Man Asked To Leave St. Anthony School Had Shotgun In Car: Cops
Officers found the shotgun after the man was asked to leave Wilshire Park Elementary School property Wednesday, police said.

ST. ANTHONY, MN — Police say they found an unloaded, uncased shotgun in the back of a man's vehicle after he was asked to leave Wilshire Park Elementary property Wednesday. The "unidentified man" was first confronted by school staff who asked him to leave. While driving away from the school, the man was detained by police for questioning.
St. Anthony officers believe the man was experiencing a "mental crisis" and he was taken to a nearby facility on a mental health transport hold.
A shotgun was found in his car, authorities said. There was no ammunition and the vehicle and weapon were never on school property, according to police.
