Woman Crashes After Watching Netflix On Interstate: State Patrol
The 20-year-old from Maplewood was cited after crashing into the median on Interstate 94.

OSCAR TOWNSHIP, MN — You may have heard of "Netflix and chill." Let's hope "Netflix and drive" isn't the next new trend.
A Maplewood woman was ticketed Monday after admitting to watching Netflix while driving on Interstate 94 before crashing, says the Minnesota State Patrol.
Taylor Ann Thiets, 20, was in northwestern Minnesota when her Subauru Impreza left the roadway and collided with the median.

Thiets was cited for "use of wireless communications device." In Minnesota, drivers aren't allowed to use a wireless device unless it's in an emergency or it's for a phone call.
"Driving and Netflix don’t mix," the state patrol said on Twitter. "Put away ALL the distractions."
