Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Maplewood After 'Dispute': Police

The woman was hit by a vehicle and killed early Monday morning in Maplewood.

MAPLEWOOD, MN — Police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed in Maplewood early Monday morning after what is believed to have been a "dispute," authorities say. At approximately 12:43 a.m. on Dec. 23, Maplewood police and fire crews were called to the area of Londin Lane and Crestview Drive for a crash.

Police say a woman had been struck by a vehicle, and she was found in the roadway. Police and EMS personnel treated the her. However, she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Further information indicated a dispute of some type had taken place, possibly between the woman and another person, police said.
