Woman Stuffed Stolen Items Down Her Pants: Woodbury Police
A woman is facing a felony charge after police say she was found with stolen items stuffed down her pants in Woodbury.
WOODBURY, MN — A Brooklyn Park woman is facing a felony possession of shoplifting gear charge after police say she was found with stolen items stuffed down the front of her pants outside a business in Woodbury's Tamarack Village.
On March 30 at about 1:42 p.m., a Woodbury police officer responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress. The defendant was confronted outside of the business by an asset protection employee. The asset protection employed reported witnessing her concealing clothing on her person and leaving the store without paying for it, the criminal complaint states.
A search of the woman's person revealed the stolen items stuffed down the front of her pants, according to police. The criminal complaint states the value of the stolen items is $43.98.

Also allegedly found on the defendant's person was an electronic device used to remove security sensors from merchandise. Police said the defendant admitted to knowing the device was used to remove security tags from merchandise.
