Woodbury To Conduct Controlled Burns
The controlled burns help preserve prairies and woodlands by encouraging the growth of native plants and reducing unwanted woody vegetation.

WOODBURY, MN — City officials will conduct controlled burns this Friday, April 21, weather permitting. The controlled burns help preserve prairies and woodlands by encouraging the growth of native plants and reducing unwanted woody vegetation, according to a news release.
Ultimately, these burns enhance wildlife habitat, recycle plant nutrients, and improve nectar resources for pollinators. The controlled burns will be held at the following locations:
▪ Andy’s Bark Park
▪ CD-P78 (see map below)
▪ Odawa Park
