Woodbury Cop Hospitalized After I-494 Crash
The collision involving a tow truck occurred early Friday morning.
WOODBURY, MN — A crash on Interstate 494 northbound sent a Woodbury police officer to the hospital early Friday. Authorities say the officer's car was hit by a tow truck on the highway near Tamarack Road at approximately 2 a.m.
The officer is expected to survive, KSTP reported. Investigators aren't sure why the truck collided into the officer's vehicle, but they do not suspect that alcohol was a factor.
