Ayo Idowu, a 2009 Woobury High School graduate, has been invited to an NFL tryout by the Seattle Seahawks, according to a Woodbury Bulletin article by Patrick Johnson.
Idowu, a 6-2, 255-lb. defensive lineman who played college football at the University of St. Thomas last year, turned scouts' heads at a recent pro day, and may have what it takes to be a linebacker in the NFL.

“From what I understand there’s seven or eight spots left, but I’m not going to think about that,” Idowu said. “I just want to be the best guy there. I’ve always been taught that if you’re the best you don’t have to worry about getting cut or losing your job.”
