Woodbury High School Cheer Team Places Third At Nationals

Woodbury High School's cheer team placed third at the National High School Cheerleading Championship.

South Washington County Schools is congratulating Woodbury High School’s cheer team on placing third at the National High School Cheerleading Championship, one of the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country.

The championship was held on Feb. 11-12 at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN2.

Woodbury High School competed in two divisions: Small Varsity Non-Tumbling and Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day.

Woodbury placed 14th out of 40 in the Small Varsity Non-Tumbling division, and placed third with their amazing Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day routine, according to a news release.
