WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Motorists will encounter the closure of southbound Highway 95 between Woodbury and Afton as crews begin safety improvements on this section of highway. Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 17, traffic on Highway 95 from just north of 22nd Street to south of 15th Street will be restricted to northbound traffic only.

Southbound traffic will be detoured to westbound Interstate 94, southbound Woodbury Drive and eastbound Bailey Road. Local access will be maintained for residents living within the project area, according to a news release.

Construction crews will also install mumble strips and update drainage as part of the project.
