Woodbury PD Blotter: June 3-7
Police were recently called about a fight involving members of a women's tackle football team, theft, vandalism and other matters.

The following information was obtained from recent police reports.
A student at Lake Middle School reported to the school’s resource officer on June 3 that a Facebook page had been created about her that included offensive racial comments.
An iPad, purse, wallet, blood-sugar monitor and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at Home Depot on June 3. The woman’s vehicle was locked but someone managed to lower the passenger-side window of the Mazda and took the items, which also included a digital camera.

A Woodbury woman whose credit card went missing at Starbucks called police after nearly $700 in charges showed up on her account.
The window of a car parked at the Bielenberg Sports Center on June 3 was broken and several items were reported stolen. Credit cards taken from a purse were also used for a $424 purchase at Target in Vadnais Heights.

Police were called to the Allina Clinic on Valley Creek Road on June 3 after a woman requested that doctors run a test on her. It was an “odd” request and employees refused. The woman began to argue but later left.
A car driving near the intersection of Oakridge Trail and Savannah Oak Lane was egged on June 4.
Police were called to the area of Pinehurst Road and Interlachen Parkway on June 4 on a report of a dangerous dog. Officers spoke with residents, who directed them to the home of the dog’s owner. Police found the dog outside the home, and it chased a car that drove by as officers watched the animal. The dog did not attack anyone but showed its teeth to joggers. The owner said he accidentally left a gate open and was given a verbal warning.
Golf clubs and related items valued at about $2,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the 8200 block of Marsh Creek Road during the overnight hours of June 3-4.
The Woodbury Fire Department responded to a call about a car fire near Manning Avenue and Hudson Road on June 4. By the time firefighters arrived the fire was out.
An Inver Grove Heights woman called police on June 4 after a car cut her off and its driver gave her the finger and cursed at her. The incident happened near Tamarack and Valley Creek roads.
A resident at the 1400 block of Park Hills Court called police on June 4 after he heard what sounded like a shotgun blast. Officers checked the area with negative results.
A $20 mailbox at a home at the 7000 block of Courtly Road was run over last week. The incident was reported June 5, and police were told that there were visible tire tracks where the post once stood.
Police responded to a report of a June 5 fight involving about 25 women at the parking lot of the Valley Creek Plaza Target. By the time officers arrived, the parties were separated and calm. Police learned that the group was part of a women’s tackle football team that was returning from a game in Milwaukee. Police advised the manager of “The Machine” to find another meeting point for future games.
A 2005 Yukon Denali valued at $16,000 was stolen from a home at the 6400 block of Oakwood Road sometime during the overnight hours of June 5-6.
A handheld GPS device and hunting knife, along with other items, were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the 6000 block of Military Road on June 6. The vehicle was unlocked and other items, including camera equipment and a checkbook, were left behind.
A 1997 Nissan Maxima was reported stolen from a home at the 1300 block of Woodhill Court on June 6.
A Woodbury resident called police on June 6 after seeing several juveniles tipping over garbage cans near East Ridge High School.
