Woodbury Restaurant's Former Manager Stole $250,000: Charges

The former manager of a Woodbury restaurant is accused of embezzling $250,000.

WOODBURY, MN — The former manager of Woodbury Bonfire Wood Fire Cooking has been charged with felony theft by swindle in Washington County. Patrick James Langbein, 38, is accused of embezzling $250,000 from Woodbury Bonfire Wood Fire Cooking accounts used to pay waiter's tips.

Langbein was arrested April 24, the Woodbury Bulletin reported. The criminal complaint states Langbein worked at the Woodbury location until he was fired in January 2016. Authorities claim a forensic investigation found 97 incidents in which Langbein stole from the restaurant.
