“Block parties and other neighborhood get-togethers are a great way of connecting with your neighbors. Woodbury Public Safety believes that effective crime prevention begins with strong neighborhood and law enforcement partnerships,” Director Lee Vague said in statement.

Woodbury residents can request to have a police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical personnel visit their party by completing the “Block Party Application” form available on the city’s website at www.ci.woodbury.mn.us. The form can be found under “Tours and Events” on both the Police and Fire Department pages.
