Woodbury Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Discovery

Woodbury police allegedly found three baggies of meth in a woman's car after pulling her over for expired tabs.

A woman is facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop in Woodbury lead police to the discovery of three baggies of meth in her car. Katie Joan Babcock, 27, was pulled over on Aug. 19 because her car's tabs were expired, police say.

The Woodbury Bulletin reported that Woodbury police officers stopped Babcock near the intersection of Woodlane Drive and Valley Creek Road after officers conducted a random license plate check of the vehicle driving in front of them.

Police allegedly found a glass bong in plain view, and Babcock admitted that there was meth in the vehicle. Police say they then found three baggies of meth and other drug paraphernalia.
