The volleyball team saw seven of its seniors play in their last home game Tuesday night, but their effort came up short, and the Royals fell 3-0 to non-conference opponent Rosemount.
After losing the first game 16-25, Woodbury made a strong comeback in game two but eventually fell 23-25, and then lost the last game 15-25.
Woodbury finished the season 16-11 and 6-3 in the Suburban East Conference, which puts them in fourth place heading into sectionals.
