Where's the best slice in town?

To set up this week's column, I'm going to give our readers a quick snapshot of my home life.

Ariel Eystad

Buffy Breen

Buffy Breen said she doesn't get pizza that often, but when she does it is usually Papa John's. The chain is apparently the beneficiary of the economic downturn when it comes to Breen's pizza purchases.

“Actually, there were a couple (local places) that we liked that have closed,” she said. “We haven't really found a new place yet.”
