Summer Stage by the Bay is Music, Art and Practicality's summer program! Students ranging in age from 8-18 gather together for two hours every evening to prepare an amazing production.
This year, we will work on Happy Birthday, America!, a celebration of our nation's 250th anniversary. Kids will learn a few dances, a lot of historical songs, have tons of fun, and more!
The two week event will end on July 19 with their last show.
Summer Stage meets July 6-16 from 6:00-8:00p.m.. They will also meet on July 11 from 1:00-5:00p.m.
Performances will be July 17 & 18 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and July 18 & 19 from 2:00-3:30p.m.
All MAP members participate free of charge. You can find more information on our website at www.MAPKidsHancock.com. Yearly dues are $20/individual & $30/family. Dues are not meant to be exclusionary. Please send us an email from the website if you have any questions.
Activities take place at Main Street United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis. We have a staff of professional theatre, music, and literature teachers, as well as several older kids to help things run smoothly.
