Runners gather to support Ugandan ministry at 4th Rodney Richardson Water Run (wdam.com) — Runners and families gathered at Hattiesburg's Town Square Park for the 4th Annual Rodney Richardson Water Run, a 5K and fun run supporting Ddembe Ministries in Uganda. With local vendors and the Hattiesburg Fire Department spraying finishers, the event honored Richardson's legacy while organizers worked to grow the fundraiser each year.

South Mississippi Toy Fest features vintage toys, comics, video games (wdam.com) — Hattiesburg residents packed the Lake Terrace Convention Center on Saturday for the South Mississippi Toy Fest, which drew 92 vendors selling vintage toys, comics, and classic video games. With fresh produce, occasional live music, winter hours, and even kid-fascinating carnivorous plants, the market offers an affordable, social way to shop local without leaving the city.
