  1. Construction is slated to begin next year on the first phase of a $150 million tech district planned near downtown Jackson. The tech headquarters and Innovation Station are just two features of the first phase of the mixed-use JXN Tech District. The project, which will stretch along Gallatin Street, will include residential and retail space, as well as a grocery store and event center. (WLBT)
  2. As part of an annual tradition, a Jackson restaurant gave back to the community in one of the merriest ways possible. The M-BAR Sports Grill hosted Santa Claus to help celebrate Christmas a day early with three families in need. The parents and 10 children enjoyed a turkey and ham meal, as well as gifts from each of their Christmas lists. (WAPT Jackson)
  3. Jackson police are investigating a deadly Christmas Eve shooting on Parkway Avenue. An unknown male was shot multiple times at Grove Park and died from his injuries. There is no suspect or motive at this time. (WAPT Jackson)
