• Council Appoint Board Members (northsidesun.com) — Jackson's City Council has reshaped several key boards, appointing Ronnie Crudup to the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority and adding or reappointing members to Visit Jackson and the Capitol City Convention Center Commission. These boards oversee the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, Hawkins Field, Thalia Mara Hall and the Jackson Convention Complex, influencing travel, tourism and major events in the city.
   

• JTRAN Bus Drivers, MV Transportation Agree on New Contract to End Weeks-Long Strike (mississippifreepress.org) — Bus service in Jackson is set to fully resume after JTRAN drivers and MV Transportation agreed to a new contract, ending a weeks-long strike that disrupted routes across the city. The deal raises driver pay, adds a safety plan, preserves key routes and Saturday service, and follows Jackson City Council's decision to provide three months of strike pay to support workers.
