  1. A stray bullet was fired into a Jackson fire station on Wednesday night. No one was injured, but firefighters mentioned hearing at least 20 gunshots around 9 p.m. (WJTV)
  2. An employee at God of Prayer school in Jackson was charged with sexual battery, police say. The 48-year-old woman had her trial on Tuesday and was released, but must wear an ankle monitor for 9 months. She cannot make contact with the victim. (Jackson Clarion Ledger)
  3. A small business center at Jackson State University is launching in January 2022 to help women-owned entrepreneurs grow their businesses. (WLBT)
  4. A man was found guilty of the 2017 Northside Drive shooting in Jackson and will be sentenced on Dec. 14. (WLBT)
